PUPPs SUCKS!

So as it turns out...I am NOT allergic to the doppler gel! YAY! No...BOOOO!!

I have PUPPs...ready for this: Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plagues of Pregnancy...PUPPs or PUPPPs depending on what doc you talk to.

AKA: Small red bumps that itch like a mofo that expand and turn into huge red blotches that all mush together into one giant red rash that then puffs up and in extreme cases (Like mine!) actually blister and peel like a sun burn. OH yes. Its lovely!

They started on my belly (where they still reside) and have spread to my thighs, parts of my calves, my arms in a few spots, my chest, and even a few little red bumps on my cheeks-face cheeks...although I wouldnt be surprised if there were some on my butt cheeks too.

The good news-in almost all cases-they are directly related to male fetal DNA! Might me one more sign that we're having man cub! We will see next Friday!

In the mean time...add itching and being miserable to my list of fun stuff...can't sleep, can't get comfortable...can't stop itching. Guess I should be glad the average life span of a PUPPs break out is only 6 weeks and once you've had them you don't get them again...could be worse. Barely.
